Course Policies, Safety Rules & Participant Agreement Range Rules and Safety Requirements For courses held at an outdoor or third-party shooting range, all participants must follow the rules of the range, instructions from range staff, Legacy Firearms Academy policies, and instructor directions at all times. If a range rule differs from an Academy policy, the range rule and the stricter safety requirement will apply. Failure to follow safety instructions or range rules may result in immediate removal from the course without a refund or credit. Prohibited Conduct To ensure everyone’s safety, the following are strictly prohibited: * Bringing, possessing, or consuming alcoholic beverages * Using or being under the influence of marijuana, illegal drugs, or any medication or substance that may impair the safe handling of firearms * Bringing or using fully automatic firearms * Using incendiary, tracer, armor-piercing, explosive, or other ammunition prohibited by the range * Shooting at target stands, range equipment, signs, or structures * Smoking or vaping in prohibited areas * Taking photos or recording videos of other participants without their permission * Handling firearms during a Cease Fire or without instructor authorization * Disregarding instructions from the instructor or range staff * Any unsafe, disruptive, or threatening behavior Punctuality Your course will follow the scheduled start and end times. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in. Allow additional travel and check-in time on weekends and holidays. Late arrivals may not be admitted immediately. At outdoor ranges, late participants may be required to wait until the next designated Cease Fire or until the instructor determines that it is safe to enter. Missed course time cannot be made up, extended, refunded, or credited. Registration, Payment and Cancellation Policy Payment in full is required at the time of registration. Please select your course, date, and time carefully. All registrations are final. Course fees are non-refundable, and registrations cannot be rescheduled or transferred to another course, date, or participant. If Legacy Firearms Academy cancels or reschedules a course, registered participants may choose another available course date or receive a full refund.
